Our two warm-water pools invite you to relax and reconnect—each offering a unique experience.
The main pool, located next to the restaurant, features three cascading levels with natural-style stonework and native gardens that help restore the land. The water is kept at body temperature for ultimate comfort, and drinks are served right at the pool. Not staying overnight? You’re welcome to spend the day with a Day Pass, which includes a delicious lunch at Lava Grill.
The second pool is tucked deep into the forest and reserved exclusively for cabin guests. Surrounded by trees and birdsong, it offers peaceful privacy and pure mountain air—perfect for unwinding after a long day of exploring.

Coffee Field
Poás Nectar is our own small-batch coffee, grown in volcanic soil at high elevation and nurtured without pesticides—only organic compost, pruning, and constant care by local coffee farmers. We cultivate the red Obata variety, known for its smooth, balanced flavor and natural sweetness.
Each December and January, we harvest the beans ourselves—guests staying during this time are warmly invited to join in the picking! Afterward, we bring the cherries to Pancho, a local producer who processes them in his family-run micro mill. He also offers an intimate tour of the entire coffee-making journey.
You’ll find Poás Nectar brewed into every cup we serve—from energizing breakfasts to creative coffee-based cocktails at the bar. It’s more than coffee—it’s community in every sip.
Nature Walk
A Gentle Trail Through Birds, Butterflies & Coffee Views
Wander through our easy, natural trails and experience the quiet beauty of our growing restored forest. Along the way, you may spot fluttering butterflies and a variety of local birds like the Blue-gray Tanager, the iconic Yigüirro (Costa Rica’s national bird), chachalacas, motmots, toucans, woodpeckers, parakeets, swallows, and more.
The path leads you to the Red Bridge, overlooking our coffee fields and charming forest cabins, a view so peaceful, it feels like something out of a storybook.
